A new initiative, called the ‘Jacobs Medal’ was unveiled at the recent Celebrating Forces Families Awards launch party at the London Transport Museum.

The event was hosted by global engineering, development and management consultancy Mott Macdonald who are the Celebrating Forces Families Awards headline sponsor for 2025 and are big supporters of the Armed Forces.

The prestigious Celebrating Forces Families (CFF) Awards is again set to recognise the unparalleled dedication and sacrifices of military families across the UK.

This year, the awards will highlight service families' remarkable resilience, strength, and innovation in the face of unique and often overlooked challenges, fostering a deeper understanding and empathy for their experiences.

The Celebrating Forces Families Awards was back for a third year, held in a brand new venue, The Leonardo Royal Hotel London City.

It was a night full of laughter, tears and inspirational stories and it gave us the opportunity to once again recognise the incredible strength, dedication, and achievements of the UK’s Armed Forces families.
